Seattle has earned a reputation as being a hub for the artistically minded, but it was news to me that Seattle actually has a sister city just with the same spirit in Reykjavík, the capitol of Iceland. KEXP provided an opportunity for musicians from both cities to come together, collaborate for day, and then perform in a free live show called Reykjavík Calling at The Crocodile Cafe. The chemistry between the different musicians was fantastic; as soon as they started playing nobody could guess that they had only been working with each other for only a day! I had a great time taking photos of these talented folks and hope to see our Icelandic friends again.
